Training is . . .

the most important key to successful Scouting for both Scouts and Scouters. It is a cornerstone of the Scouting program. There are many opportunities available to youth and adults at various levels to further develop. Some of these training courses are conducted in your unit, some are available for you to work on by yourself, and others are offered at national training centers, such as the Philmont Training Center in Cimarron, NM. Training is never done, and is an on-going throughout the Scouting program. However Seneca Waterways recognizes the need to make sure all Scouts recieve the best program. The best programs are organized and run by well-trained leaders.
