Do you love exploring your passions, making new friends, and discovering the world?

Looking for adventure? Or want to rappel off a cliff, perfecting your shot, design a robot? How about kayaking into the sunset, or explore your faith, or volunteering at an animal shelter? Then Venturing is for you.

Each activity provides an opportunity to shine and learn more about yourself and the world around you. Venturing is youth-led and youth-inspired. You’ll acquire life skills and gain experiences that will prove to be valuable regardless of where your future takes you, all while having a blast: leadership, event-planning, organization, communication, responsibility – the list goes on! Venturing is for young men and women 14-20 years old. Go to to find a program near you!

Venturing Officer’s Association – We Want You!
The Venturing Officer’s association is the youth-led Council Venturing group. VOA provides opportunities for adventure, leadership, personal growth, and service. By doing so, we serve to model best practices in programming for local crews and to provide a program resource for Venturers and Advisors throughout the Council. VOAs provide opportunities for personal growth and leadership for their officers, just as the leaders and members of the VOA provide programming of interest to their constituents. A strong VOA has a positive correlation with strong crews. Program and training events offered by the VOA give Venturers the chance to meet other Venturers, build friendships and networks, learn from their experiences, and have fun!

We need you to be involved! Talk to your Crew Advisor or contact the VOA below. The VOA meets monthly on the second Monday of the month at 7pm, and there is a lot of room for Venturers and adults to get involved!
