2021-2022 Waters Edge Roundtable Meetings: 1st Thursday of Month
Our next Roundtable will be at the Wayne Central Middle School Cafeteria on Thursday, May 5th at 7:00pm, commissioners meeting at 6:15pm. If you have anything you’d like to share, please inform District Commissioner Valerie Bost and District Executive Will Gales. If you need extra applications, recruitment supplies, etc. please make requests at least 24 hrs before the meeting. These meetings are open to leaders from ALL Packs, Troops and Crews to get information on what is going on in our District, in SWC, and all things scouting!

The Cub Mobile will be happening in May 2022 at the Webster American Legion Post. Registration is live, more information on how to build a cubmobile is located on Black Pug, Link Below!
2022 Council Pinewood Derby Race: June 25th at Dick’s House of Sports in Victor
Make sure your Scouts follow the PWD Rules_2022; Scouts should dress in Class A uniforms for the races. The Council PWD Races will be held at Dick’s House of Sports in Eastview Mall on June 25th at 7:00pm.
First Responder Camp: August 7th – August 12th
Exploring First Responder Camp is for Explorers and Posts seeking a focused program in two exciting areas. Open CO-ED registration to anyone up to 21 years old, Exploring First Responder Camp is designed to refine your skills, challenge your limits, and for Explorers – help you develop a deeper understanding of the Emergency Services. - Power of 3! (Scouts can earn prizes by recruiting new scouts into the program! For more info on Power of 3, or you can enter your recruits here)
- Personal Invitations (personally contacting and inviting families to join your unit)*
- Being in constant contact with the school district, and asking if flyers can be sent home with students (check out this video for ideas)
- Checking “Be a Scout Leads” after accepting online applications
- Recruiting using social media (community FB pages)
- Creating Cub Scout flyers to promote the units recruitment events (download GIRLS flyer or download BOYS flyer)
- Appearance and recruitment at Community Festivals
