Fall Challenge – Massawepie October Odyssey – October 9-12, 2020
The Adirondack Park is a 6 million acre national treasure, with many natural and historic wonders to explore. At the Massawepie October Odyssey, take on the challenge to experience as much as possible in a Camp-wide Park-wide scavenger hunt! Using Massawepie’s Camp Pioneer as a base, Scouts have the opportunity to complete over one hundred of activities and challenges spread throughout Camps Pioneer, the Massawepie property, and the Adirondack Park. Each Troop will be challenged to go above and beyond to create their own ultimate Adirondack experience and take home the title of champions! Massawpie Annual Arctic Challenge – MLK Weekend 2022
Come stay at Massawepie and experience the Adirondacks in the winter. Stay in heated Gannett or Keymell Lodges or bring your cold weather gear and give the Voyageur lean-to a try. Guided activities will be planned for the entire weekend. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in any and all events that they are interested in. Round robin activities will be provided on Saturday morning from 9-11:30. Your group will be able to borrow snowshoes or bring cross country skis and explore the property! Out of camp activities will be included like broomball, the Wild Center, and snow tubing on Mt. Pisgah. Enjoy delicious meals that will be also be provided!
