Welcome to the Jungle 
Come spend a weekend travelling through the jungles of fabulous Camp Babcock-Hovey. Open to any age Cub Scout, come experience 24 hours of camping bliss with your adult partner. What would a jungle be without animals? Fishing should be back at Hovey! Monkeys, parrots, tropical vegetation (not to mention temperatures!) – all will be ready for you at camp – join us and see how! Come swim in the tropical pool, work on your archery target practice, create your own jungle craft and lots more! Sleep out in the great outdoors following our campfire. Adult partners, be a kid once again with your Cub and imagine yourself hiking down the jungle trail on your quest for the next activity!

This is a great introduction to Camp Babcock-Hovey and the wonderful programs offered each summer. All the excitement can be experienced at Cub Adventure Weekend. Activities will include archery, swimming, fishing, and much more.

Come Saturday morning, July 14th and we're done the following morning after breakfast. It's like a whole week of camping crammed into 24 hours!
 
Tents and food will be provided just bring your jungle-appropriate outfits.  Got a great jungle outfit or hat?  Bring it along for an evening campfire program! Scouts and their adult partner should bring clothing, personal hygiene items, sleeping bag or blankets, swimsuit, towel and a water bottle. Please dress appropriately for the weather… including rain. And don’t forget your imagination to make this experience a most memorable time at our historic Scout camp.

Complete the Cub Adventure Weekend registration form and the Annual Health and Medical Record in this packet and submit it to your Pack’s Camp Coordinator. Cub Adventure Weekend is the perfect camping adventure for a weekend outing. We hope to see you there!

Refund Policy. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another Scout within the Pack. Camp refunds, exclusive of deposits, will be issued only under the following conditions:

1. Valid medical reasons, certified by a camp health officer or family physician. Sudden illness or hospitalization. Vacation plan changes do not constitute an emergency
2. Unavoidable family emergency.
3. Required summer school attendance ($25 of Camp fees are non-refundable. Requests for refunds must be received in writing prior to September 1, 2012)
