Cub Scout Elective Days at the Scout Service Center

Cub Scout Elective Days are opportunities for Cub Scouts to earn adventures or electives toward rank requirement with the support of subject matter experts.

Being a den leader is a challenging role and we want to help our den leaders be successful. Sign Scouts up for elective days to give Scouts the opportunity to advance in rank without doing a lot of work on your part. Just sign the Scouts up, have parents attend with the Scouts and the Scout should work through each of the requirements for the elective.

Belt loops are awarded upon completion of the elective or adventure.

Usually two electives are offered during the day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon but depending on the schedule of instructors and the length of the class one elective may be offered.

Space is limited in each class so early registration is encouraged.

Registration for the class is done online through our online registration system. Paper registrations are accepted and can be processed but classes may fill between the time the paper form is received and when it is entered. Online paid registrations are filled first with paper registrations being processed second if space is available. Please register online to ensure your spaces are secure.

Cub Scout Elective Days are scheduled throughout the year at the Scout Service Center in Rochester & at J.Warren Cutler Reservation in Naples, NY.
